Cu o zi inainte de sfarsitul lumii, aflu ca trupa americana Calexico, o trupa cu care m-am mai intersectat intamplator, a lansat un nou album, numit "Carried to dust". Or sti ei ceva...
Albumul are cronici extraordinare, mai ales ca precedentul album "Garden Ruin" a fost cotat ca slab, slab, foarte slab.
Au revenit in forma, cu stilul mozaic care imi place mie atat de tare, fusion cu influente de la Chinese popular la country american, indie rock, folk, soft jazz si ce mai auziti si voi pe-acolo. Pe vocal il cheama Joey Burns si suna cum trebuie.
Au o piesa mai veche care imi place pentru ca aduc cu The Decemberists acolo, ii zice "Alone again or". Dar asta noua e cu totul altceva, e mai elaborata si imi place mai mult. Lipseste influenta flamenco dupa care nu ma dadeam in vant, poate de-aia.
Daca n-o dau astia in bara foarte nasol cu particulele alea, caut maine album si ascult pe indelete daca gasesc, pentru ca azi mi-am facut numai o idee de la melodia care urmeaza:

It's easy to find, all the stores have it (it came out yesterday), plus it's on the Internet. If you can't find it, send me an email, and I will mail the album to you.
